Diary vs. Journal

A diary helps you remember what happened. A journal helps you explore why it mattered. This prompt helps turn a raw daily entry into a clearer reflection without requiring you to start over.

When to use it

Use this after you write a normal daily entry that mostly records what happened.

Use it when you can feel there is something useful inside the entry, but you do not want to stare at the page trying to figure it out.

This works well for recovery writing, habit change, self-trust, decision-making, and weekly reviews.

How to use it

  1. Write your entry normally. Don't try to make it deep.
  2. Paste the full entry into the prompt.
  3. Run it as-is for a short reflection.
  4. If the entry feels especially important, messy, or worth exploring further, write "Deep Reflection" above your entry before you run it.

By default, this prompt produces a concise reflection. To go deeper, add "Deep Reflection" above your entry.
